16 Famous Logos And Their Hidden Meanings

Have you ever looked at logos and wondered what their meanings were or what inspired the designer? Here are 16 logos that you see almost every day and what they represent.

1. Toyota
The three ellipses seen in the logo for Toyota represent three hearts: the heart of the customer, the heart of the product, and the heart of progress in the field of technology
2. McDonald’s
Yes, the “M” for McDonald’s and there really isn’t another meaning. In the 60’s, McDonald’s wanted to change the logo but their design consultant and psychologist Louis Cheskin insisted that they left the golden arches. According to BBC, he said customers will unconsciously recognize the logo as “symbolism of a pair of nourishing breasts.” Whether this is true or not, their logo is one of the most recognizable in the world.
3. Mobil
The importance of this logo is in its colors. The red is said to represent strength and the blue represents faithfulness and security that the company provides.

4. Pepsi
Pepsi’s old logo is the one on the left. The new logo on the right cost Pepsi $1 million. They hired Arnell Associates to come up with it. As a result, Pepsi had to spend millions more to rebrand everything. Then Arnell’s 27 page document was leaked and it was entitled, “Breathtaking Design Strategy.” It proposes that the new logo is some sort of Da Vinci Code. The logo draws on Feng Shui, the Renaissance, the earth’s Geodynamo, the theory of relativity, and much more.
5. BMW
BMW has a history in aviation and its logo stays true to its roots. The blue and white represent a propeller in motion with the sky peeking through. In fact, BMW had a role in World War II as a creator of aircraft engines for the German military.
6. Apple
The Apple logo represents the forbidden fruit from the “Tree of Knowledge” in the Biblical creation story of Adam and Eve.
7. FedEx
This logo is so creative. If you look closely you will see the arrow between the letter ‘E’ and ‘X’, which represents the company’s forward thinking ways and outlook towards the future.
8. Mercedes-Benz
The Mercedes-Benz logo is the most confident of all. The tri-star represents the company’s dominance in quality and style over all things land, sea and air.
9. Google
The Google logo has four primary colors in a row then it’s broken by a secondary color. This was entirely intentional. Google wanted to show that they don’t play by the rules and are also playful without making the symbol bulky. To do that, they just used simple letters and colors.

10. Adidas
The Adidas logo looks like a mountain to represent the obstacles that people need to overcome. Originally the logo was just three stripes and didn’t stand for anything. So they kept the three stripes and just made them slanted to resemble a mountain.

11. NBC
Ever wonder why the peacock has so many colors? It’s because during the 50’s, NBC’s owner was RCA and they had just begun to manufacture color televisions. RCA wanted people who were watching black-and-white televisions to know what they were missing, so they created a colorful logo.

12. Audi
Plain and simple, right? Well, no. Each of these hoops represent the 4 founding companies of the Auto-Union Consortium way back in 1932: like DKW, Horch, Wanderer and Audi.

13. IBM
IBM’s logo has a hidden message for the whole world. The white lines passing through give the appearance of the equal sign in the lower right corner, representing equality.

14. Volkswagen
The ‘V’ stands for “volks” which means people in German and and the ‘W’ stands for “wagen” which means car. It’s the car for the people.

15. Amazon
You may have thought the arrow looks like a smiley face, meaning Amazon’s main mission is to make their customers happy. But notice the arrow is pointing from the a to the z. This represents the fact that Amazon has a large variety of items for sale, from A to Z.
16. Baskin Robbins
The Baskin Robbins logo may look like it includes a simple BR above the name but if you take another look you will that it includes a pink number 31. This is a reference to the original 31 flavors.

Shaikh Mohammed opens the world's first 3D-Printed office in Dubai

The unique building on the Emirates Towers premises will house the temporary office of the Dubai Future Foundation.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated that the UAE has emerged as one of the major incubators of innovation and future technology in the world today, and its focused initiatives to shape the future have become global models that can be emulated in all sectors.

"We implement what we plan, and we pursue actions not theories. The rapidly changing world requires us to accelerate our pace of development, for history does not recognize our plans but our achievements," Shaikh Mohammed said while the opening of the 'Office of the Future', the first 3D-printed office in the world. The unique building on the Emirates Towers premises will house the temporary office of the Dubai Future Foundation.

Present were Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation

Shaikh Mohammed stated: "We announce today the opening of the first 3D-printed office in the world, after less than a month of launching Dubai 3D printing strategy which showcases a modern model of construction. This is an experience we present to the world on implementing future technology in our lives, and it represents a new milestone for the UAE as a global leader in strategic achievements."

He added: "We see this project as a case study that will benefit regulators as well as research and development centres at the regional and international levels on real application of 3-D printing technology. We are documenting this experience and building on it to take advantage of the most important lessons, which will serve as reference points to take this technology to new levels."

Shaikh Mohammed pointed out that the competitive advantages of 3-D printing in terms of lower costsand faster delivery will make the UAE one of the most important sustainable economic hubs, enabling the effective use of this technology to establish future cities in all sectors.

Universal innovative design and competitive cost

The first 3D-printed office building of its kind in the world prepared for actual use has taken into account the integration ofa unique building design and 3D-printing technology to offer key services within the building, such as electricity, water, telecommunications and air-conditioning.

The office space covers up to 250 square metres, while the exterior design reflects the most innovative forms of future work place. The design has been conceived to achieve a shift from the traditional form of work environments and provide greater opportunities to stimulate innovation and communication between work place teams. It also offers the possibilities for joint work with experts and innovators from around the world, and a platform to inspire ideas and develop relations between employees by establishing new methods for brainstormingsessions and creating a healthy and happy environment. The design also offers space for exhibitions and workshops as well as other events.

The 3D-printed office was constructed using a special mixture of cement and a set of building material designed and made inthe UAE and the United States. These materials have undergone a range of tests in both China and the United Kingdom to ensure their reliability. An arc shape was adopted for the building for safety purposes and to ensure the stability of the building.

Innovative features have been adopted in the office building to reduce energy consumption such as window shades to offer protection from direct sunlight and keep the building cool. Latest technology has been used in the management of information systems within the building.

A 3D-printer measuring 20 feet high, 120 feet long and 40 feet wide was used to print the building. The printer features an automated robotic arm to implement printing process.

The labour involved in the printing process included one staff to monitor the function of the printer, in addition to a group of seven people to install the building components on site as well as a team of 10 electricians and specialists to take care of the mechanical and electrical engineering. As a result, the labour cost was cut by more than 50 per cent compared to conventional buildings of similar size.

In order to manage the execution of the project, additional mobile printers were located at the construction site, in addition to the use of advanced computers to help ensure quality control, facilitate the printing processes, and form effective and productive basement for different projects requirements.

The full model took only 17 days to print after which the internal and external designs were adopted. The office was installed on site within two days, which is significantly faster than traditional construction methods involving A category office buildings in such an innovative project.

The initiative comes as part of Dubai 3-D Printing Strategy, which is a unique global initiative aimed to harness this promising technology for the service of humanity and promote the status of the UAE and Dubai as a leading global centre of 3-D printing by 2030. The strategy focuses on three main sectors: construction, medical products, and consumer products.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and a number of senior officials.

The biggest change and the use of antibiotics in medicine has been asked to launch massive awareness campaign.
* The world is on the brink of post-antibiotics era
* Resistance to antibiotics is a bomb ticking
Report a mixed response to and in some circles it is insufficient.
The world is fighting germs to antibiotics resistance to drugs lose quickly, and this risk has been termed as' terrorism as a threat.
The scientists are not making new antibiotics on the one hand that the other side is being wasted by using them improperly existing drugs.
From mid-2014 to more than a million people have been victims of germs to develop resistance against antibiotics.
Doctors do not know is that in spite of the use of the antibiotics as bacteria kulstyn last resort. This is a danger that the "post-antibiotics is increasing by far.
The current analysis is that the situation will continue worsening and 2050 annual million people are victims of immune bacteria.
Moreover, the estimated damage to the economy caused by resistance to drugs would be a thousand trillion dollars.
The report suggests:
1.     Instant global awareness campaign in which people will be made aware of the risk.
2.     For the initial research to the two billion dollar fund.
3.     Water supply, sewage, and ensure the availability of clean hospitals.
4.     Used in agriculture that will immediately put on antibiotics.
5.     Monitoring the spread of drug resistance should be improved.
6.     Companies receive a billion dollars on the discovery of new antibiotics.
7.     The new test will be to devise a financial reward to help prevent abuse of antibiotics.
8.     Vaccine and to increase the use of alternative medicine.

9.     The Lord Jim O'Neill, head of global analysis, told the BBC: "We need to educate people to help in different ways around the world and show that antibiotics should not like candy.

The world's most powerful economies

The UK has overtaken France to become the world's fifth largest economy in real terms and is set to become the best performing economy in the western world over the next 15 years

Here are the world's ten largest economies, according to the IMF World Economic Outlook (WEO) from October 2015. We have used GDP figures based on purchasing power parity (PPP) valuation, which eliminates the skewing effect of currency market fluctuations.

10. France
In tenth spot, France has slipped behind the UK to become Europe's fourth largest economy in PPP terms, with a GDP of $2.65 trillion. In real terms, not adjusted for PPP, its economy grew by 1.3pc in 2015.

9. United Kingdom
In real terms, the UK has the fifth largest economy in the world. However, adjusted for PPP, it comes just ninth, with a GDP of $2.66 trillion. The UK's economy has expanded for 12 consecutive quarters, growing by 2.2pc in 2015, but the Chancellor George Osborne has  warned of "bumpy times ahead.

8. Indonesia
Indonesia is the 16th largest economy in real terms, but rises to eighth place when the effects of currency conversion are removed, with a GDP of $2.84 trillion. Indonesia briefly overtook India  as the second fastest growing G20 economy, but slipped back into third place in 2014.

7. Bazil
Low oil prices and high mandated government spending are taking their toll on Brazil's economy . Despite a near 4pc drop in Brazil's GDP in 2015 – its biggest contraction in a quarter century – the Latin American country has the seventh largest economy in the world in PPP terms, at $3.21 trillion.

6. Russia
Russia's economy  contracted at the fastest pace in six years in 2015 due to sanctions and plunging oil prices. Despite its 3.7pc decline in 2015, Russia's economy is still the sixth largest in the world in PPP terms, worth $3.47 trillion.

5. Germany
Europe's powerhouse is also the world's fifth largest economy in PPP terms, with a GDP of $3.84 trillion. However, with the lowest birth rate in the world, Germany will struggle to compete with fast-growing Asian economies in the future.

4. Japan
The third largest economy in real terms, Japan slips to fourth place on this list with a PPP-adjusted GDP of $4.84 trillion. However, weak domestic demand and falling exports – coupled with, like Germany, a shrinking population – is threatening to send Japan's economy into its sixth recession in seven years .
3. India
India has the world's third largest economy, although it languishes in seventh place in real terms. With a PPP-adjusted GDP of $8.03 trillion, India recently overtook China to become  the fastest growing major economy in the world, expanding by 7.3pc in 2015.

2. United States
Although the US has the world's largest economy in real terms, with a GDP of $17.97 trillion, it drops to second place when the effects of the strong dollar are stripped out.

1. China
China's economic growth has slowed to its weakest pace in seven years, gaining 6.7pc in the first quarter of this year. However, at $19.51 trillion in PPP terms, China has the largest economy in the world. As Martin Gilbert recently wrote in the Telegraph: "Economists have often said 'when America sneezes, the world catches a cold'... but the past 12 months suggest the world’s immune system is more sensitive to China’s sniffles than was previously thought.

Raw sleep important for the formation of new memories

The initial part of sleep to create new memories that scientists have proved it sees gold dream in which a person is very important.
Science research journal called Change the sleeping brain activity of mice and then examined its impact on their memories.
It is known that if these results slumber which R.E.M.A. I would not say it is, of course will not work if the brain cells of rats were taught simple things to do in the last day. Scientists say they now want to study the brain activity of human beings are prone to memory impairment.
According to a deep sleep to preserve the memories of the previous day is very important, but the dreams of sleep duration is unpredictable and this research is very difficult.
The researchers inserted small optical fiber in the brain to overcome a small section of the sleeping connections in the brain.
If the mute their brain cells during sleep was R.E.M.A. Remember anything about the last day.
Scientists say they now want to study the brain activity in humans to increase their knowledge about the memories

But the risks faced by obese people almost unbelievable.
Study authors say the best example of the obesity-related illnesses that may be some of the best medical system in cholesterol and blood pressure are included.

According to him: "This means that you need to take your weight in overweight people than before now less worried."
Denmark says investigators overweight rating on a global scale to rate their work at this time because this is two decades old.
However, the British metabolic medicine experts have rejected this idea.
"This research is interesting but due to obesity, will not change our recommendations for the treatment and carefully University of Glasgow Professor Naveed Sattar said in this regard."
This does not mean that Mutaph research can save you more than death. "
Obesity and overweight may be at risk of many diseases. As type 2 diabetes, liver disease, cancer, sleep problems, certain difficulties in pregnancy.

Check Sugar (Glucose) in blood with the aid of microwave radiation on the skin instead of Acupuncture.

Scientists have invented a device to know the amount of glucose in the blood, which works with the aid of microwave radiation on the skin instead of Acupuncture.
So far, diabetics need to know the amount of blood glucose several times a day or have to use the blood glucose monitors.
This new tool developed by the School of Engineering at Cardiff University. This tool can the patient put on your skin.
Professor Adrianne porch that should be taken is the traditional way to measure blood glucose in the blood volume. Not so in our tool. "
Prof. Porch that this tool can be found on the wing with any adhesive entity or body. This device will run over and not even any chemistry.
He said,,That the information obtained from this device will be stored on a computer or mobile application.

Prof. Porch that though for some people it would be strange that the tool body is made to emit rays microwave view but it is absolutely safe.
This device emitted microwave radiation but are very low. He would not have the status of these rays, which are used for cooking in homes, Think of a mobile device is a thousand times less than the radiation comes out.
Professor Stephen Lozi of Swansea University College of Medicine has clinical experience with the device.
He says, "Patients are quite interested. Diabetes is the biggest problem that the amount of glucose that is interested in this tool and so people do not want Acupuncture finger.
It is a disease, while 35 million people in the UK zybyts half a million more people who are not known to pose the disease.
Type one diabetes is six times the daily minimum 10% of patients to evaluate the amount of glucose in your blood.
Cardiff University This project began in 2008 and the project is funded by the Wellcome Trust million pounds so far.
Scientists say the team needs five years to come to market this device.

"Gene" therapy to help cure blindness!

British scientists fear of having restored the sight of patients with a genetic therapies (gene therapy), who is blind.
This science is known to scientists study the long-term it can be used as treatment.
Scientists next year for some common types of blindness treatment will start her experiences.
This therapy is an active gene is inserted in the back of the eye that cell Rewind revival.
The therapy was tested in the last four years, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and 32 patients in Germany.
Scientists have found that not only stops the disease from therapy, but in some cells die, it would again be health and improved vision in patients.
Experiments also showed that the therapy is long lasting too.
The first patient treated was four years ago and had no longer any difference in his sight. Instead of going to improve their looks.
Head of research Professor McLaren told the BBC: "The most effective way to deal with the treatment of disease at the genetic level. We are also developing treatments for the most common types of blindness will be available over the next five to ten years
